Mayflower Cottage adjoins our own house, reputed to be 500 years old! It is situated in the centre of Blackawton Village, which is in the middle of the South Hams region of South Devon.
The region is designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty, with plenty of spectacular coastal walks nearby. The village has a cosy pub, historic church and convenient community shop.
Totnes is 20 minutes by car from Blacakwton.
Trains run hourly from London directly to Totnes. Journey time is under 3 hours.
Blackawton is 50 minutes to Plymouth and Exeter by car, 30 minutes to Dartmoor, 15 minutes to Dartmouth and 10 minutes to the coast.
Our accommodation is excellently situated for convenient access to both coast, river and moor.
