Dartmouth is a quaint, bustling, historic naval and fishing port nestled at the mouth of the River Dart. It boasts a castle, museum, historic architecture. It is close to Greenway (once home to Agatha Christie), steam train rides and river boat cruises and beaches. Come explore with us as we meander through the ancient cobbled backstreets, discover traditional pubs, tea rooms, unique shops and the dock where, in 1620 the Mayflower docked to make repairs.
Itinerary:

9.30am Pick up from your local accommodation
From Dartmouth we travel to either: Option 1: Greenway National Trust (famed for being the former home of Agatha Christie) on the banks of the beautiful river Dart.
(Additional cost, optional extras:
travel via River Ferry from Dartmouth to Greenway , 1/2 hour trip
Kingswear to Greenway via steam train, 15 min trip
Dittisham to Greenway via small boat, 5 min trip)
options can be one way or round trip)
or Option 2:
Journey to Coleton Fishacre National Trust, an historic coastal home and picturesque gardens

11.30am Journey to Dartmouth for lunch and exploring, including:
The historic Bayard's Cove (where the Mayflower docked before setting sail to the New World)
The fascinating, very small Dartmouth Museum
A stroll through the cobbled back streets and stairs of Dartmouth
Shopping in the local boutiques​
2pm Visit Blackpool Sands for a stroll on the beach
2.45pm Visit Dartmouth Castle
3.30pm Return to accommodation
